Most offices are designed for efficiency and aesthetics—but what if they were designed for how people actually think, focus, and process information?
Neurodesign is the practice of aligning workplace environments with the way the brain perceives and reacts to stimuli. This course explores how various workplace triggers such as acoustics, lighting, and spatial layout impact cognitive performance, emotional regulation, and stress levels (for both neurotypical and neurodivergent employees). Attendees will walk away with a science-backed framework for designing workplaces that support mental well-being, sustained focus, and inclusive thinking.
Offered by Thinkspace.
This course explores the evolution of worker safety. At first, it was about laborers and all safety was dedicated to reduction of injury in work settings such as factories. And while the scientific management theory bridged the demand for productivity and efficiency in factories and offices, the safety measures of one did not fit the other. We learn where ergonomics began and how it became the gold standard for office worker safety for more than 50 years.
Offered by Watson.
